Editing my own work is my favourite part of the process. I also love working with other authors to push their manuscripts to the next level. I am currently a mentor with Creative Edinburgh, working with authors at various stages. I also work for Curtis Brown Creative as a Reader/Editor on their short courses.
I’m a friendly and supportive editor, and I love working collaboratively. I endeavour to be affordable.
Genres I work on:
Thriller / Domestic Suspense / Horror / Literary / Crossover
Heather helped me work on my querying package and strategy for my first novel, and has been an invaluable thought partner in developing my second. I've really enjoyed our ping-pong brainstorming about plot and character, every time we speak I come away full of new ideas, and she's also super enthusiastic and encouraging!
